About me

Born as a dreamer, raised in a military family, I love to read, learn, and explore.

The story of

Rachel Josephson

I was born in Logan, Utah…but I did not stay there.

Utah. Kansas. Texas. Nebraska. Germany. George. California. Washington.

And now, Los Alamos, New Mexico.

These are the places where I have lived, and they shaped who I am. But nothing shaped me more than my family. Family is extremely important to me, and so my writing is often created as a gift to a particular family member. I write something I know they will love, because if there’s one thing I love (almost) as much as my family, it is a deliciously good book.

Attended Brandon Sanderson’s Writing Class at BYU

Graduated from VCFA with a degree in Creative Writing for Young Adults and Children.

I write every day that I can, and I love it.
